John Stephen Agbenyo, MA, B.Ed, DipEd

Stephen Agbenyo, Ph.D, MA, B.Ed, DipEd, is the co-investigator and Executive Director of Savana Signatures. He has led the design and implementation of various interventions to reduce maternal and infant mortality among vulnerable populations, and has managed multi donor funded projects and implementation teams in Ghana.

Agbenyo’s research interest is in mobile Health (mHealth). Over the last 13 years, he has been working to improve maternal and child health in rural areas in Ghana and has an established working relationship with the Ghana Health Service at the National, Regional and district levels. He was a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow.
